Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and compliance documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and Excel with advanced functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for multi-state operations
- Support audit preparations and tax documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with daily transaction processing
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables), and accounting software
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
