Responsibilities
- Manage and record daily financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist with internal and external audits efficiently.
- Process accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
