Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full compliance with tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations to external auditors.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll-related taxes and filings are accurate and timely.
- Monitor budget variances and provide financial insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and management.
