Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for department heads.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
