Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide financial reporting to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and GAAP standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
