Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for key clients and departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
