Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and local business tax compliance.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to maintain up-to-date records.
- Perform monthly audits and verify all financial data for precision.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros) is mandatory.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
