Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Process payroll transactions accurately and ensure all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial records and documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
