Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated individual to handle the following key duties:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently to ensure timely vendor and client payments.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring full compliance with US tax laws.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, resolving any discrepancies or outstanding items promptly.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support executive decision-making.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
