Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support the budgeting process by providing financial analysis and variance reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, generally accepted accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
