Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget support.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using company accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or a similar financial role (required).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional, depending on travel).
