Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal review and stakeholder reporting.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and improve cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Perform internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Support tax preparation activities and coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
