Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Collaborate with the audit team to ensure smooth financial audits.
- Process payroll entries and maintain accurate payroll records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related finance role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
