Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements and tax documentation with daily pay reconciliation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and optimization opportunities
- Implement and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with daily pay processing capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with daily pay systems
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
