Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports) monthly and quarterly
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Collaborate with auditors during internal/external reviews and maintain organized financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives with detailed variance analysis
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
