Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with VAT returns and HMRC compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Process payroll and ensure timely employee payments
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero/SAGE software
- Ad hoc financial reporting for senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in accounting/finance roles
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or SAGE software
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
