Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll transactions and ensure all payroll-related tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Conduct routine bank reconciliations and expense audits to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns and audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses, generate invoices, and manage financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
