Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently to ensure employees are paid on time.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and local laws.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax documents as required.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
