Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with local and federal tax laws.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
