Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse client portfolios including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with variance reporting for executive stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate entities including federal, state, and local filings
- Develop cash flow forecasting models and working capital optimization strategies
- Train junior accountants on QuickBooks Online and proprietary financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA certification or active CPA candidate status (required)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
