Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage our financial records, prepare accurate reports, and ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards. If you are a numbers person who loves a challenge, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and optimize processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual budget preparation process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
