Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
- Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all deductions and withholdings are correct.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of proven experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
