The Role:
As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to the management team. This is a high-impact role perfect for someone ready to grow their career.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for departmental projects.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
