Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will manage daily financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external auditors during annual audits.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder reporting.
