Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation filings for corporate clients.
- Monitor financial systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Process payroll and ensure timely vendor payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or a related role (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
