Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
