This hybrid role combines deep analytical rigor with creative vision, requiring both strategic thinking and practical implementation skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year organizational transformation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members with compelling narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future foresight into product development lifecycles
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience visualizing complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (whitepapers, journals)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots and transformation
