Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic trends to identify high-impact opportunities and threats through 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future Horizons Reports
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on disruptive innovations and market inflection points
- Design and implement innovation pipelines in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and next-gen human-AI interfaces
- Spearhead cross-functional initiatives to embed foresight into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic institutions, and industry think tanks
- Present strategic insights to investors, board members, and key stakeholders through compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep technical knowledge in AI/ML, biotechnology, climate tech, or human augmentation systems
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing multi-year strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks implemented at scale
