Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize future-focused initiatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging technologies and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring future-readiness and innovation ROI
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a future-oriented culture across departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic innovation, consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation projects
- Certification in Futures Research or equivalent professional credential
