Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies, social movements, and market disruptors relevant to 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenario models using AI-powered analytics and predictive frameworks
- Translate complex foresight findings into actionable strategic roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional workshops with global stakeholders to align on future-state planning
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and predictive briefings for industry publications
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database with real-time monitoring capabilities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, consulting, or futures research with demonstrable impact on long-term planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative/qualitative field
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, trend analysis frameworks, and scenario planning
- Proven ability to translate complex future projections into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, climate tech) and societal impact vectors
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, AI trend forecasting platforms)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented work or successful 5+ year predictions
