Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future State Frameworks for key industry verticals
- Design and facilitate executive innovation workshops using strategic foresight methodologies
- Build quantitative and qualitative models to simulate future scenarios and risk landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with future trends
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership with data-backed narratives
- Mentor a cohort of junior futurists and build our internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or industry whitepapers
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through future-focused initiatives
