Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal, and economic domains to identify 2026 inflection points
- Develop sophisticated scenario models and strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 planning cycles
- Facilitate executive workshops translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Quantify future risks and opportunities through data modeling and probabilistic forecasting
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Maintain a proprietary knowledge base of emerging disruptors and paradigm shifts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate innovation roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency with forecasting tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Trend Hunter) and data visualization
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into executive strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic roadmaps implemented for 2020+ planning
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
