Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion using scenario planning and predictive analytics
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for emerging challenges in climate resilience, human-AI collaboration, and decentralized systems
- Present futuristic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and trend narratives
- Establish cross-industry partnerships with startups, academia, and think tanks to co-create future-ready solutions
- Lead workshops on future-proofing methodologies for internal teams and key clients
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-cultural shifts to anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, cross-impact analysis)
- Experience developing innovation roadmaps for complex global markets
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
