Responsibilities

- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making and long-term capital allocation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future projections into compelling narratives for C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Architect annual innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for market readiness and competitive advantage
- Champion experimental culture through rapid prototyping and failure-tolerant methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Innovation Management (required)
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least three market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills with portfolio-level impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF, APF) preferred
- Prior experience scaling innovation teams in Fortune 500 environments
