Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technology trends and their business implications
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to accelerate prototyping of 2026-viable solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future-state possibilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented roadmaps
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience advising C-suite executives on strategic technology decisions
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Futurology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented future-proofing initiatives
