- Analyze complex financial statements and credit applications to determine risk exposure
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions for clients
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Present findings to credit committees and contribute to underwriting decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement analysis
- Credit Risk Management (CRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
