Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and business performance metrics to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and loan recommendations for commercial lending decisions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay current with industry regulations and credit analysis best practices
- Document credit analysis processes and maintain accurate compliance records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage ratios
- Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) or equivalent designation preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
