Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and send out weekly invoices to clients and ensure timely collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Monitor and manage petty cash and expense reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict weekly deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
