Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations weekly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts receivable collections and aging reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with precision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
