Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
- Payroll Processing: Process weekly payroll for clients with high attention to tax and compliance regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and general ledger accounts.
- Bookkeeping Software: Utilize cloud-based platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) to manage financial data efficiently.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients regarding billing inquiries, invoice submissions, and financial status updates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero (Sage experience a plus).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; High school diploma with significant relevant experience is acceptable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
