Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions weekly
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Generate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) for client meetings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state tax regulations
- Assist with quarterly payroll processing and tax filings
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online Desktop
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 8am-5pm)
- Proficiency with Xero or Sage software preferred
