Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-of-week closing process, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Perform rigorous bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare variance analysis reports and assist in the annual budgeting process.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with weekend shift experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during weekend shifts.
