Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the Weekday Accounting team to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during off-hours.
