Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and internal control policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and annual audits with precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Process payroll accurately for the weekend workforce, ensuring all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday) consistently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
