Responsibilities
- Oversee the financial close process for the weekend cycle, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial documentation for compliance.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
