Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll reports with high accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures on a compressed timeline.
- Review and approve invoices and expense reports for weekend vendors.
- Generate financial statements and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Communicate financial discrepancies to the senior accounting team promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating or fixed schedule.
