Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing cycles
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team for seamless operations
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and NY tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet strict weekend shift deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-4pm)
