Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing procedures
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support audits by providing documentation and financial data
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in GAAP principles and regulatory compliance
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with QuickBooks and enterprise accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
