Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis for various business units.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audits.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data integrity.
