Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and collections
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during weekend engagements
- Implement process improvements for weekend financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience with weekend shift scheduling preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly valued
